In Amarillo, Ground Game Texas joined local reproductive-freedom organizers in opposing Proposition A, a proposed ordinance that sought to restrict travel connected to abortion care and create a private civil-enforcement mechanism. Organizers built a local coalition, conducted voter outreach, and worked to make sure residents understood what the proposal would do. In November 2024, Amarillo voters rejected Proposition A, stopping the measure from becoming city law.
